Cycle and Ski information

My interests are varied.  Part of why I started this shop is that it involves what I enjoy.   Isn't that what it's all about, enjoying what you're doing?  Life's too short--enjoy what you do, and make the most of it!

We try to keep the ski report and what's going on with area cycling as up to date as possible.  If you need more recent information than what you find here, please feel free to contact us.

Ski Report

02-06-2010

It's starting to look like spring -  way too soon!  Weather around here has been pretty warm lately.  January was a record warm month, and February is starting out that way too.

Resorts are holding their own as far as snow, but some cooler wet weather would be nice to build the snowpak up.  Snow level seems to be hovering around the3000-4000 foot level.  Which where the resorts are, so they get rain one day, snow the next, with no real big accumulations.

But, if your a back-country hound, there is certainly some good conditions above the 5000 foot level. You just have to "earn your turns".

Ride Report

02-06-2010

With all the warm weather we've had lately, it's made for good riding conditions.  Good time to go for a ride.

The first big organized ride of the year is coming up at the end of the month; The Chilly Hilly at Bainbridge Island is on Feb.28th.    I'm hoping to do it this year, maybe I'll see you there!
